ADA Website Accessibility Lawsuit: a pizza ordering website

Brett DeSalvo, represented by WILSHIRE LAW FIRM, has filed a class action lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Central District of California on January 7, 2020, against an online pizza ordering service. The complaint alleges that the defendant's website is not fully accessible to visually-impaired individuals, violating the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III and California's Unruh Civil Rights Act.

The lawsuit alleges numerous Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) violations, including a lack of alternative text for non-text elements and images, empty links, and redundant links that hinder screen-reader navigation.
